Primate Ichiro forced a two hour stand-off with staff as he escaped the searing summer heat in his enclosure and looked for some shade on the roof. The 42-year-old even managed to swipe the gun from one stunned worker - forcing a hasty retreat. But the monkey business at Ishikawa Zoo, western Japan, was brought to an end after he was distracted by a bunch of bananas and hit with a tranquilizer dart”.
